Dove – A symbol of the Holy Spirit
The Dove is a symbol of the Holy Spirit which produces
Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Humility, and self-control.
We recognized this symbol at our Lord’s baptism. After Jesus was baptized, he came up from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened [for him], and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove [and] coming upon him. And a voice came from heavens, saying, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased”
Matthew 3:16-17
The Holy Spirit guides us in all TRUTH. Jesus told his disciples that after his death, God would send the spirit of TRUTH to be with them forever.
On your life’s journey as confirmed disciples, the Spirit of Truth will guide you.
The spirit of the Lord will give him Wisdom and the knowledge and skill
to Rule his people.
He will know the Lord’s will and honor him and find pleasure in obeying him.
Commitment Statement
I will make full use and I will be generous with the
gifts God gave me. I will be open to the Spirit that
gives us Power, Love and self-control. I will lay a
solid foundation for the future.

Prayer
Let me give thanks to the God and the Father our
Lord Jesus Christ! For in our union with Christ
he has blessed us by giving us every spiritual
blessing i pray that Christ will make a home
in my heart through faith, i pray that my
roots are nurtured by Love and showered
by the gifts our Lord has given me.
